Adult Education

At First Presbyterian Church, we take study of faith very seriously, always seeking to live into our church’s tradition of “reformed, always being reformed.”

We believe that the Holy Spirit is continually at work to nurture us and inspire us, stretch us and change us. To this end, we gather together to learn and study regularly, always open to learning new things and stretching ourselves in new ways.

Sunday School

We offer an adult church school class on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. which follows The Present Word curriculum of our denomination. This class meets in the Middle Room of Fellowship Hall.

Wednesday Bible Study

Each Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., we gather for an ongoing study followed by a brown bag lunch. This time of discussion and spiritual growth meets in the Middle Room of Fellowship Hall.

Wonderful Wednesdays

This group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Following a light dinner, the children go to the nursery area for Kids Klub and the adults have the option of a class in the Johnston Room or remaining in the Fellowship Hall for a presentation by local non-profit ministries supported through our church budget. The classes and presentations conclude at 6:30 p.m.
