First Presbyterian attenders enjoy meals together frequently.
Gathering as a community of faith is an important aspect of ministry of First Presbyterian Church. There will be gatherings for lunch following morning worship periodically throughout the year. Notable among these are the Father’s Day Indoor Picnic and the annual Holiday meal held between Thanksgiving and Christmas. There is also a change of pace on Mother’s Day when the men and boys of the church prepare a breakfast buffet for the ladies that is served at 9:30 a.m. Our pastor conducts a brief worship service in Fellowship Hall after breakfast to conclude the morning’s activities. Additionally, the annual church picnic is always a fun time filled with good food, games, and lots of laughs.
